Our Story
China Intelligent Electric Vehicles (CIEV), headquartered in Shanghai, is a pioneering force in the globalization of China’s automotive industry. Formerly known as Maimiao Auto, founded in 2017, we were among the first five national enterprises authorized by China’s Ministry of Commerce for automobile exports.
As the joint operator of the China (Kunming) Automobile Export Industrial Base, we’re building a comprehensive global network to connect international traders and dealers with China’s finest automotive brands.
Our platforms, MYCAR-COLLECTION (global auto retail discount platform) and MMIAUTO (supply chain platform), position us as pioneers in bringing Chinese new energy vehicles to global markets.

Our Journey
From 2010 to 2014,the company's founder Byron Wang and his partnersco founded SVW and Byron was the youngest dealer general manager of the Volkswagen brand in Asia Pacific. He led Hualu Automobile to become one of the most competitive dealers of the Volkswagen in China and won the Special Contribution Award for Market Share.
In 2014, Jintuo Finance and Huain Financial Leasing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Were established to enter the auto finance industry. From 2015 to 2017, Jintuo Finance became the largest auto finance SP in Southwest China.
In 2016, Jintuo Finance was transformed into Maimiao Automobile (MMAUTO) and launched ane-commerce distribution model based on S2B2C. The angel round financing valuation exceeded60 million yuan.
From 2017 to 2020, MMlAUTO became one of the most promising vehicle distributors in China.In December 2019, its monthly GDV exceeded 1 billion yuan, and its monthly GMV exceeded 90million yuan.
In June 2023,the company's Ethiopian branch wasestablished, and the company's first batch of BYD electric cars were exported to Russia and Ethiopia. MMlAUTO became the1st company to successfully introduce a Chinese new energy vehicle brand to Ethiopia.
MMIAUTO was authorized by the Ministry of Commerce of China as the first 5 pilot enterprises for the export of used cars in Yunnan Province.
MMIAUTO initiated the share reform and established China Intelligence Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd (CIEV)as the global flagship of the group. At the same time, it launched the global automobile retail terminal brand My Car Collection(MCC).
In October 2023, with the support of government departments at all levels, CIEV signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Kunming Urban Investment Group to jointly build the China(Kunming) Automobile Export Industry Base in China.
In November 2023, Byron Wang visited Mr. Mwembu, Minister of Home Affairs of Zambia, to explore the Zambian market.
In December 2023,ClEV signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Bangladesh AM Group and officially entered the Bangladesh automobile market.
In 2024, ClEV obtained the national distributorship of Chery Group's Jetour brandin Bangladesh. Jetour brand is the Chinese most promising automobile brand and is widely acclaimed worldwide.
From Feb to Aug 2024, MCC showroom in Laos, Cote d'lvoire and other countries started operations in succession.
In 2024, ClEV Group obtained the distributorship of Wuling Motors brand in Armenia. ClEV's strategy of deepening its presence in Central Asia achieved a major breakthrough.
In August 2024, ClEV Group's Middle East and Africa subsidiary CIEV-MEAwas established in Dubai, and the Dubai office started operation.
In March 2025, CIEV secured the overseas distribution authorization for the Geely Radar brand.
