On the morning of June 19, 2025, China Intelligent Electric Vehicles (CIEV)/MMIAUTO, along with Thanaleng Dry Port Sole Co., Ltd. and Laos Financial Holding Co., Ltd., successfully signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Cross-border Industrial Chain Service Platform for the Automotive Industry at the opening ceremony of the 9th China-South Asia Expo. In the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Viengkhone, Director of Laos PTL Holding Group, and Wang Jifei, President of Laos Financial Holding company, made a special visit to the headquarters of China Intelligent Electric Vehicles Co., Ltd in Kunming for a symposium. The three parties engaged in a discussions on the specific implementation and future deepening of strategic cooperation.
This symposium marks the commencement of the substantive implementation phase of the project for tripartite cooperation. In the future, all parties will leverage complementary resources and engage in innovative collaboration, with Laos serving as a hub, to promote the internationalization of Chinese automobile brands and facilitate the upgrading of Laos’ automobile industry.
