BYD Seagull

The BYD Seagull is a compact electric hatchback designed for urban commuting, offering an affordable and eco-friendly driving experience. Built on BYD’s e-platform 3.0, it features a 55kW permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 75 horsepower and 135Nm of torque, enabling a 0-50km/h acceleration in just 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 130km/h.

Available with two battery options – 30.08kWh or 38.88kWh – the Seagull delivers CLTC ranges of 305km or 405km respectively. Its fast charging capability allows a 30-80% charge in just 30 minutes, making it ideal for daily city use. Measuring 3780mm in length with a 2500mm wheelbase, the 5-door hatchback offers surprisingly spacious interiors despite its compact dimensions.

The Seagull comes equipped with modern features including a 7-inch instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch or 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, and comprehensive safety systems with multiple airbags and advanced driver assistance technologies.
